Free Furnitures to Non-Member?

Members buy clothes and furnitures, but we too we can get free items even backgrounds, the one thing we could not get it is Furniture and igloos, just one free Furniture or igloo to non-members is I'm happy, but not offensing the members. .. Do You agreed with me? Free Furniture to everyone?

It is for us working folk sebastian. I'm still working on paying back my brother for losing his mp3. Trust me, if you don't have parents with a decent work wage your pretty much out of joining any club. Online or off. I can't remember the last time I earned 6.00 for even mowing a lawn. Not that I'm trying to offend you I'm sure you pay for what you get.
But I don't think you should put us behind just because we can't choke up the money for it.

Non-members are allowed to strictly clothing items. Igloo items are all too much, remember members pay. :rolleyes:

I have mixed opinions about this. Members pay for their penguins, and they obviously get more privelages. However, they earned those privelages, and I think if furniture started being handed out to everyone, CP might lose members, or not gain as many members.

Possibly releasing a furniture item for nonmembers at every 'big' parties (holidays, themed parties, etc.) would get more people to play, but not as many people to pay.

I think, rather than being given furniture items, nonmembers should be able to open their igloos. What's the point in having an igloo, if you can't do anything with it?

So, like I said, I have mixed feelings about the situation.

I would think that he's talking about the average CP user, and not homeless people that, chances are, wouldn't be able to access CP in the first place, let alone pay for it.

Its okay if non-members get just 2 or 4 chairs, and a table.

Well of course they shouldn't get upgrades. That's what members get. In parties, non-members should at least get one furniture item every party. They don't even need to give out free furniture items every month. Maybe one month will be a furniture item. Then, the next month will be a clothing item. If CP Staff doesn't like the idea, then we need to open our igloos to everyone. That way, we can throw parties too.

No, they shouldn't get Rockhopper's furniture/clothing items that are for members, because they should be happy enough with the freeitem(s) Rockhopper bring for them.

You're a non-member, maybe you're idea of Rockhopper's items may hurt the members, because Rockhopper item(s') are the only member rare items.
So I doubt CP Staff would make Rockhopper item(s') for non-members, but they will still get some items for non-members. :rolleyes:

While it would be neat I don't think it will ever happen, If anything they should possibly give non-members placer furniture to test out the system, like a straw chair and table or something. It would give non members the ability to try out everything a member can do (the point of the free cloths and puffles).

My parents are scared of putting their credit-card number out on the internet beacause they are afraid the site will get hacked. So don't immediately go off saying "Well you can just pay for membership its not hard to cough up $6".

B. It is true that members do pay to have a membership, therefore they get more benefits. Non-members do get free items at parties, and if they stay on CP long enough they can get pages and pages worth of items. I probably wouldn't pay for a membership if I had to with my own money because non-membies do get a ton of stuff.

C. These threads (most of them anyway) talk about ONE TIME THINGS. Would it kill anyone if just once non-members got a furniture item? A catolog item? Most non-members act pretty fair about not being members, so would it be a big deal? Only to a Member Extremist (and if you're that exptreme about keeping benefits for members only, you need to look at your priorities).

D. Members are biased toward members, and non-members are biased towards non-members. That's why these threads always turn into flame wars. I am trying to show both sides how the other feels.

membership is 5 dollars (3.20 pounds). if cp was to add this it will be decreased to 4 dollars (2.20 pounds) therefore they wont do it, if they did it and didnt lower membership the thread abut end of cp will be a hit with the yes poll option

all you non members should be thankful you get party items, if you keep complaining NHI might make that a members only thing too

Me too. I got into big trouble. My parents came back home and They saw me on Club Penguin. They thought it is bad. Some of us have computers and other more general things. Therefore extra money is slim. Also parents think it is dumb to pay for a game like the sims.

Yes and no. Yes, because non-members get free clothing items, why not furniture items? But also the Clubpenguin team wants you to buy a membership so you can get furniture. So they only give you clothes, then you realize that you want furniture then you buy a membership. Personaly, I don't think Clubpenguin will ever come out with free furniture items.

Please don't beg others for a membership most importantly after your parents have told you to not play CP.

CP's home page has lots of information on all the saftey procedures CP uses and will tell them that not only do you not have to pay to use CP but you if you do get a membership part of it goes to charity. Ask your parents to prove it is a scam, and let them know that it is the safest game for you to play online.

I dont agree, I think you should be a member to do that, it's only fair. Club Penguin uses the money that people pay to be become members to upgrade and repair Club Penguin.

This idea has come up many times before and what you want will not happen because of a reason not yet said.

A major problem in CP is that there are creative penguins who will spell words that ought not to be spelled by using furnature. This act gets by filters and reports and it is very hard to prove. Even if you screen shot it and mail it to CP the screen shot can't prove that the igloo is the penguin's who you claim it to be and as long as that person put it away before logging off than nothing can be done.

A member has much more to lose if caught doing this so you don't see alot of it. If nonmembers were to have furnature items they are much more likely to abuse the furnature in the predescribed fashion. I would like to have a CP mod confirm this for everyone (before I lock it) and I know they will because I was told this from Rsnail or Screenhog on the old forum.

If you have any new ideas please contribute but please don't just repeat what others have said.
