The Internet.A different planet like Earth.A way to start over with new emails,new accounts,and new Ip addreses.One thing unlike Real life.In real life,you can't be a whole "new" person.
Many News article had siad that ClubPenguin is like a Myspace for young kids.
I agree.You chat and you can become easily addicted.
Club Penguin has grown into an entire new earth of itself.Now there are three earths to live your life.
-Real life
-Internet
-Club Penguin.
Like real life Newspapers(many of them has sprang up),Club Penguin has hundreds of Fan Created Blogs most common on WordPress.Like countries,there are servers.In coutries, celebreties(Like Britney Spears In america,Jackie Chan in China,and Kate Moss in Uk) can be compaired to Cp.For example,In mammoth we think of Vital Viper and Big Balla.If you go in Blizzard and say it,they will probally all go "Huh?"
I go on Blizzard Usa alot too and by far,i've met a penguin that can be comsidered "celebrety of Blizzard"She has a good igloo,a good reputation,and accepts ALL of her buddy requests.Like real life,there are ferniture,and igloo decor in Cp.Like real life groups(PETA,FBI,The Us Navy),many Cp clubs have been made such as the ACP as Cps "army"The entire world resembles Our planet. And like Real life,Cp is still devoloping its high-tech flash technology as real life is devoloping too.
"Popularity" has been one reason for people to play Cp.However,unlike real life,the famous is preteens and "tweens"
Club Penguin also helps a person's Social Skills.
As fun as ClubPenguin may now sound,It also has many Negetives.
-Addiction to the Computer is bad.It ruins your eyesight and you will just be wasting your life away and growing pale.
-Competitive People will start getting frusteraited with the minigames and become angry and obbesed..Even Worse..may move onto hacking which is technially stealing.
-Hacking is Very bad,as it is against the laws and you can get in very big trouble for it
-As far as human nature goes,we mainly classify people as popular or not by looks and material items instead of personalities.This can happen,but i'm not really sure,Penguins with old clothing will become "popular" and start acting Snobby,thinking that they're awesome.

-Confidence Problems.Say you throw a party with all your might,nobody came.First thing you do is give up,but then get back up.This probally won't go for younger players.
A popular Phenomonal has spread through the internet.Parents agree because of the Awards of safety.Reviews are a good way to find out,but also a bad way.Everyone has a different personality A book review may be bad,but you enjoyed the book.Standerds on safety is complicated.There is no way to tell if a bunch of pixels is a predetor.Pro-Predetors are great actors.They pretend to be like a 10 year old with names such as SoccerLover983923,igloos that arent worth much,and chatspeak as younger kids find easier to use.The prey fall into the trap and everntually the predetor has striked.
CyberBullies have been a problem too.Snobby penguins with old items(like populars in high school)seems to have mistaken their reputation.They put down newbie penguins with insults and a mean "I WILL NEVER BE YOUR FRIEND BECUSE YOUR A N00B,HAHA,LOL".Then the newbies go away.N00bs are just plain annoying.
Cp is a New Earth for those 8-14,A compition for popularity for some,A place to help your social skills,or just a place to chat and make friends,whatever the reason,Cp is a great game!:D
