I love Hoot! The book was great, even though the movie was terrible. I'm still waiting to read Flush. It's awesome to read this book for me because I live where the book is set.

The only problem with the book was that it was so stereotypical. It was like the author wanted people to believe that the only people that live in South Florida are criminals, little kids, and hillbillys. Of course, that stuff isn't true.

Same thing here except I live in the Tampa area, but my cousins from conneticut and France think that because I live in the south, it means we vote for bush, we want the south to rise again, and have an accent, but that isn't true. Anyways on topic, i read Flush, and I saw hoot, and I thought it was okay, but not good.

In the Tampa bay area we don't act like that, and we don't act like that in the Miami, or Naples area. But in Jacksonville, if you don't like NASCAR, or are liberal, you better get out, or anywhere else in North Florida, or Mississippi, Louisiana, Geoirga, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, or Kentucky.

I LOVED Hoot, but you should read Flush be carl hiaasen...i liked it more...
