For the NES, I would suggest purchasing Super Mario Bros. 1 and 3.
For the N64 you might want to buy Super Mario 64, Kirby & the Crystal Shards, 1080 Snowboarding, and if you feel like a kid, Yoshi's Story.

I found my N64 a few years back, and I have been playing Mario Bros. 3 on and off for years. Best game ever.

I suggest Super Mario 64, and Granite, why would you want to play them on a new computer, when you can play them on a wonderful old console?

You have to get Mario Kart 64 for the Nintendo 64, because that game is the best one that came out for the Nintendo 64.
You should also get
Ready 2 Rumble : Boxing
Mario 64
I own 60 games for the Nintendo 64 and I am proud :)
