CP is losing originality

I know that a lot of us aren't happy about the new party, and don't think I'm trying to make it worse. These are things I just noticed lately.

Ok, I've never experienced last year's Summer Party, but I've seen pics of every decorated room (I liked the picnic in the snow forts the best). I compared them to this year's, and what a difference! Last year's had inflatable pools, beach towels on the ground, torches, and a bunch of other oringinal Summer things. Now this party has a big surfing theme to it. Yeah it's about Summer, but it isn't oringinal. If you do have pics of last year's compare them like I did, and you'll see what I mean.

I'm just saying CP should use decorations you'd expect for a Summer party. I never expected a bunch of surf boards and an ice cream stand!

The CP staff constantly tries to surprise its urers one way or another via clothing, decorations, or parties. It's all part of the game.

I did expect surf-boards, but did not expect the octopus to be back.

Club Penguin tries to suprise us everytime there is a party. No, personally I think Club Penguin did a wonderful job on this party.

Do we not eat Ice Cream and go surfing in the Summer? This year's party has a snow castle you can actually go into this year and many other things.

It may seem a little less 'original' this year compared to last. But you have to take into to consideration that this game is growiing rapidly, they just finished the cove, and an estimated 50,000 new members join per day. It is very busy at the Club Penguin Offices and those simple days are gone!

i like this party, its cool, sure, they dont got pools, but if u want it that bad, just go to the cave, i personnally like this party better then last year, but i think the dance club this year is a little....lacking, but this party is great in my opinion

Yeah me too, I missed last years by 2 days and I waited 363 days for this one.
Sure I forgot about it for a while, but I like it.

I'm glad that who ever disagreed with me did it nicely. I respect your opinion like you respect mine. I know making a worldwide game is a lot of work. But like I said, these are things I noticed. I'm not asking them to change it.

i remember the pools. I wish they would make a room called OCEAN and you can swim in the ocean and get a surfboard as an item and make it look like your surfing!

Yeah I remember the pool in the nightclub.That was fun but they replaced it with a frwaking limbo thing which my penguin broke his back doing.

Well sure, last year's party was better than this year's, but that doesn't mean it's not orginal. The just went with the surfing theme because of the new game

I half agree with you. There was a humongus surf theme to the party and it was cool, but last years party evoked more summer fever. I'm glad they mixed it up though. everyone would be majorly mad if they brought back the blue lei AND all of last years decorations! I loved the sand castle,the coconut cafe,the ice cream stand and everything at the cove. I didn't like the nightclub,the mountain top or the plaza.:cool:

i have to agree with bwie1995. i would be dissipointed if cp brought back bacically the same party as last year. but, last years was ,well how do i put it, um, BETTER!!! the one now is horrilbe if u ask me. the music stinks. way too many newbs. cp is just getting ruined now with 'shivvers' newbs. all they do is hack cp, and such. but i still love cp. even though they are bringing back old items. i hate that.

I wasn't surprised at ALL by the surfing theme. Sony is trying to buy Club Penguin (done deal yet? I don't know.) and Sony just released the new movie "Surf's Up"...how much of a coincidence is that? NONE at all. And to have "Herb" or "Ted" in the dojo again is just plain uncreative. The sand castle at the dock is cool but the dance club limbo is :P .

no the only reason they are bringing back the clothing items because they will bring back EVERY SINGLE ITEM besides for party hats and pins. they will bring everthing back so it is fair for the penguins who missed it before and they want it really bad.

I agree with your idea, I think that the surf boards stink, because they had destroyed Summer party's original design.. yeah I missed last years pool, where they offered the floaties.

wait wait hold up. the western party in my opinion was the worst party club penguin ever had. only the town and nightclub were decorated. I dont care what anyone says. it was plain horrible. dont even compare this to the western party!!:sick:

How is it uncreative to have him back? He was a big hit and still is. Plus, they were being creative. Take a look. They added pads to him because he had holes. Theyre trying to make it realistic. Thats CP humor for ya lol. And for the record, his name is PurpleD/Octy.
