I am making this thread in order to ask why do Club Penguin is keeping bringing back the old items back again.
I dont mind when they change color, so we can make a diference between the old and new players, but bringing back the exactly same item?!

The Whistle Came back
And now the Blue Lei camer back


5 Items in like 6 months?

If this happened like 5 items in a year it would be ok, but remember that there happened 6 parties since December 06 and 5 items were brough again.

This is really sad even though ScreenHog said that all items will come back.
If it was true why did he change the propperlor cap hat and bunny ears and party hat color, and not the blue lei, the whistle, the santa hat, the eyepatch, and the aprilfools hat?

Im really angry about this whole coming back stuff, and to be honest this is what ruins the quality of the game.

The blue lei could come back as white or green
The whistle could come back as orange
The eye patch could come back as dark blue
The Irish hat could come back as yellow and green stripe (change the colors)
The Santa hat could come in white and red (change the colors)

Club Penguin are using the money people give in memberships for this i think, for server space. and they bring them back because:

No server space
Ran out of ideas

But seriously, every item will eventually come back. Even though you originally had it, there are in fact other people on Club Penguin that weren't around at that particular time and would love that item.

You just have to face the fact that Club Penguin is about having fun and meeting friends, not having old items that nobody really cares about.

As Bramzy said, new users would want older items and because there's a much more (and growing) amount of new penguins than older penguins, more new penguins will want that old item. So why not you be happy with all your other 'rare' items and just let the new penguins enjoy the new items. It's as if older penguins are rich with rare items while newer members are poor with barely any items. Newer penguins want to get the satisfaction of blowing a whistle or play pirates with eye patches. So why not let the newer penguins enjoy those items.

Just be grateful with what you have, and when all the items you have come back, you still have your pin or anniversary hat to show off.

Today, everyone is using it, so im just another "noob" in the middle the crowd.

It is stupid, and unfair.

This ruins the quality of the game, because you cant never be one of the best if you dont have nothing people can admire you for.
So making a rare item a bone that dogs fight for, is just sad and even worse for the real old members.

As I always say, ya sznooz ya looz, if they missed it, then they should suck it up, and move on. They cant take every item we own for crying out loud. If they werent hear the first summer party... TO BAD FOR THEM, older plars shouldnt have there rare items taken back back becasue some new penguins are crying over how they missed the old items. So its thier fault.

These are the CP forums, not RFSHQ. In here, the phrase "furry" does not exist.

NHI has recently been throwing back items for those users who have seen older users wearing them, and wanting it for themselves. This keeps many users in CP, to help NHI increase in it's profits.

Don't worry, they are still making more items.

Yes they are, but its hard to think up of new items when theres already over 250 ever made or so, but it wouldnt be that hard to just recolor the blue lei, im still questioning why Cp couldnt have done that. It seems like that item could have been the easiest to recolor, like the party hats.... Oh well, the red lei better come back though, becasue if it doesnt i will be mad, and would be unfair to old penguoins who didnt get that one...

I dont care when they bring old items but in diferent colors, but bringing back the exactly old and rare items that until today only a "few" penguins could be proud to have them.

It is not that CP has run out of ideas, it is clear that they have not since each party is different and they have come up with new games and areas.

It is about the new players who want the clothing that their old friends have. So CP makes it so that every year everyone starts out with more or less the same items. They make it so that every event the items come back so that they don't exclude anyone.

They do appreciate the old members, which is why the beta hat and the anniversary hat won't come back.

If you want to show off that you are an old member, put the beta hat or the anniversary hat on.

For every time they bring back an item, they release new items. For the members this party it was the life preserver. For the non-members it was the ice cream apron.

CP can do whatever they feel like doing. They are choosing to please both new people and old people by bringing back items which new people don't have, and making new items for the older members.

Don't sass CP for bringing back items, when you know that CP has made it clear that EVERY item excluding the party hats, pins, and perhaps the propeller hats will come back.

Where on earth are you getting these numbers from? You can't make an assumtion on percentages based off of just you and your friends. Only CP has those numbers, and APPARENTLY the numbers they have are MUCH different Than yours, otherwise they wouldn't be doing what thy are doing

Alright, this thread is only turning into a flame war. Whether you like it or not, Screenhog said that EVERY SINGLE ITEM WILL COME BACK. No need to complain anymore.

This question seems to come up quite often (more often shortly before and after a clothing catalog launches)... what items will come back into Club Penguin? Are there any clothing items that will never come back?

The following items are not planned to ever come back:

- the party hats (beta test, 1st anniversary, etc.)
- pins

Every other player card item has the chance of coming back. Non-member items, member items, party items, backgrounds... every one will come back someday. They won't all come back at once, of course, but they will come back.
