question about lan games

ok so my brother has starcraft and we have 2 computers we hooked them up and all with i think its a lan cable and we want to verse each other in starcraft but we need 2 discs i no theres a way to do it with only 1 disc does anyone no? and could they tell me if you can it would be highly appreciated.

Try this:
1. Put the game in one computer.
2. Start the game.
3. Take the game out.
4. Put the game in the other computer.
5. Start the game.

If that doesn't work, then I don't know what to do, but try it anyways ;)
