Have any of you guys read the hobbit? I'm reading it in english and we have about five more chapters to read . i thought it was going to be really boring but it is actually not that bad. what are your thoughts on this book?

Well, I had to read this last semester and I thought it was very prdictable and boring. Mos of it is the group traveling and I did not enjoy it.:(

Well seeing that I had to write a summary for each chapter, I hated having to read the book. I loved the content though, so I ended up reading the whole series. I really liked it.

It's one of my favorite books, and I've read it probably 10 times.

My mom read it to me and my brother when I was like 5. It's been one of my favorite books since.

The hobbit is a very good book, I read the LOTR before it though.:|

Oh, I loved it! I read it before LOTR... Those are my favorite books... and movies... Tolkien was REALLY talented.
