we are reading this book and its dumb i have read couple pages (chap 3) and has anyone read it cuz we are on chap 17 and im way behind.......if you have inform me about it...

I like that book. Sometimes its really sad though. The beginning of rather lame but when you get to the good part it gets better.


It's actually a good book if you bother to read the whole thing.

One thing is: there's no ending:P

well there are two sequals, I read the giver and thought it was a pretty good book and now I'm reading gathering blue and then there is another that brings the characters og the giver and gathering blue together.

reaing this thread it looks like my and tnt are the only people who acutaly apretiate the books, I can't wait to see what happens in the end of gathering blue and in the messanger. those books are the 3rd best books I've ever read, there are only two others that I like more, house of the scorpion and sea of trolls

I liked all the books, including the sequals. There's one about Blue string, and another called The Messanger or something like that.

Good series, they made you think. Also, I didn't read it from school, some of my friends were discussing it, because they had to read it, and I thought I should read it.
