what's the best way to train a pokemon who evolves by love? exp or time in training without getting hurt?

Edit: Now's been moved so I have nothing to say, but ^^ none of those, the best way to grow it's friendship is by walking with it, taking him out in battle, giving him vitamines like Carbos, etc.

To get my crobat on green I just traded it to my ruby version and traied it normally there. It was much easier get it to evolve.
