@Kani: As I said for the other one, it looks a little blurry, lacks depth and contrast, effects look basic aswell. Needs alot of work done, I know you can do better.


@FreeBee: They look a little bit rough, messy, cluttered, its hard to tell what the concept is. Try making the tag have a cleaner look and a clean compo and flow.

First one - The smudging looks ok, the flow is going in the fight direction, the only problem is the smudge doesn't have enough detail. It lacks the depth it needs aswell. Colors are good, just remove the sand like color. V1 is the best. Pretty good smudging though. Just work on the compo, detail and depth, remove that light yellow aswell.

Would make it much better. ;)

Second one - This is to you and SB... Its OK, text and clipping masks have sort of a begginer style to them, depth and contrast is good. Lighting is too strong. Overall, I think you could've done more with it.

- Must know how to incorperate alot of colors, shapes, and pen-tools.

My PhotoShop stopped working, and if I ever decide to take care of it, I'll re-install it. Thunder is more active, and more popular, we did have the best GFX'ers on this team once, but now that Chris is banned, and he already said he'll rarely post, it's dead. Plus, I haven't seen Little Milky, or Chris on MSN in a long time. I'd request this team to be locked, but just in case Chris comes back and still wants it to be active, then I guess we won't close it. It's been fun, but I don't think I'm ever going to be back in Graphics again, or for at least a very, very long time. So Chevelle, join Thunder you'll learn more since it's active, and you have more fun. Blitz just isn't what it used to be anymore...

Wooh, Milky. Thanks for the comments, I wonder if I should stick to the style. I'm on a really cool GFX forum called SD-Styles and you can get classed 2 times a week in the classification, so I posted my recent yesterday, and I was put at high novice.

So I'm looking for ways to reach low mod. The class crew says I'm really close so I'm wondering if I should stick with this style. The other 3 I posted in the class thread were a different style, not as colorful.

I don't know if I should stick with this style or not.

Oh, by the way I'm probobally gonna make a new team so we can battle thunder, since Blitz is fading away. :(

Thanks, nope, no brushes its all pen-tooled beside the splatters. Its the eyedropper tool, the selection tool, the pentool, and the shape tool.

Effects aren't the best... Lighting source is too strong, looks basic. Add more ''wow'' to it, looks very plain.

I actually see where most of the hidden details are, but like Flubby said, the source of light coming out of his hand(sorry, I forgot the guys name. I used to love mortal combat though. . .) is too bright. Give it a more dark/dull essence of brightness, if you know what I mean. That way it doesn't look like its just some giant glob of like and the people that don't have the searching eye can see that its supposed to actually be coming out of his hand. Other wise I think that's awesome! Ice using his power to frost up the lens of a camera or something is what I get out of it. 7/10. ;)

Good job. I don't really like that weird dissolving splatter look crud, but then again I don't remember how to do it, so I shouldn't be insulting it. It looks great.

For the splatter stuff I brushed, using the clone stamp, with one of the 'wet media' brushes that come with photoshop and then set the layer to pin light.

So now you can insult it. =)

Lose the fractals, don't use them again unless they're high quality job done by someone like Tokyo Rose. Work on your compo, effects and choosing renders since I noticed most of the renders you use don't have that much detail in 'em. Try a few tutorials, as well. Those would really really help... :3

Funny that only a few months ago we were trying to get the focal/render to blend and flow with the render, but now we are making it stand out and look amazingly clear. It will take me some time to get used to that new custom.

Nice vector, watch out when your coloring in though. That sometimes ruins the vector.

No, it was French Canadian. We need somebody else from Quebec willing to open a new Blitz for us. Then it will be a 100% carbon copy. hehe. Excuse my smart allic ishness, but what ever its true.
