Lol I just thought about that. It was like the first game ever made for a TV like 50 years ago.

Not 50 years ago maybe 20 years ago for atari2600 I think(I'm not going to go into it however because RFS knows more than I do).

The game was made in the 60's.So it would be about 40 Years old.

Wow really? Holy mess dude! I thought it was made in the 80's because it was out for the atari2600 right.

Yes,it was out for the Atari2600,but it was on consoles before that also.

There were a couple.I forgot how to spell one of them,but it was pronounced "odd-eh-see".

Pong was released on several standalone home consoles before it was later ported into cartridge consoles. "Standalone" means that there are no cartridges or anything you put in, the console plugs into your television set and you play the games that are programmed into the system. These days, standalone consoles are those "arcade classics" joysticks you can plug into your TV using the red yellow and white cables. They're still around today just not as popular.

I can't be certain when the actual very first version of Pong was released but it was not a catridge. For the Atari 2600, Pong is known as "Video Olympics".

Pong was before RFS's time also.The game was created in the 60's.

On wikipedia it says the first video game was made in the 40's
