And I'm almost 100% sure a system from the 1980's meets the criteria of "retro". Quit ruining threads with backseat modding. If you have nothing to contribute move along.

I loved the old mario games. I recently tried to get mine to work, but it only cooperated on occasion.

I classify these "retro" games as "old school."

I loved the NES. I played it at my uncles house all the time when I was 3.

I bought one 3 weeks ago and have 24 games so far. I get more old games each week.

This week I bought 2 Super Nintendo games on ebay Star Fox and Super Mario World 2.

My favorite games I have are...

Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt
Blaster Master
Super Mario Bros. 2

I want Super Mario Bros. 3 badly.

Out of Mario 1-3. I only beat # 2. I can only get to 8-3 on Mario 1.

Wow that's good 8-3 on Mario 1... I could never get that high. Also where did you buy the NES? I've been looking for one.

You can get a complete system pretty cheap on eBay.

Yeah lots of people try and do that.
(whats sad is most of the time it does
not help any). Leave the real work to
the moderators and admins.
All we should do is report it.
;)

EDIT: can not be a hypocrite though,
we all do it eventualy.

I don't beleive that Ocarina of time was on the NES, neither was star fox. Star Fox and Ocarina of time were on N64, however Star Fox was also on the SNES so I think you were thinking of that. :)

What I'm saying is, if you have nothing to contribute other than "THIS IS IN THE WRONG FORUM" the don't post. There's a report button for a reason (and you are incorrect anyways as the NES belongs in the retro forum).

Mario Bros. just plain sucked. But Super Mario Bros. was amazing.

The only problem was you couldn't move back to the left without hitting the side.

Yeah, i always wanted to go back check if i had missed any coin, but with that bug we couldnt go to left, cause the screen stoped.

It was the major mistake of that game, but even though it was and it is a great game, for me its the best Nintendo game. Not the Pokemon

(Dunno why but i think RFS will be amd when he hears Pokemon isnt the best game in the world)

Well then allow me to apologize on behalf of Nintendo for not being able to crank out real time graphics rendering, orchestrated soundtracks, and 28 button controllers in the 1980's.

According to your profile you are 17 years old (doubt it seriously). You are not old enough to remember the days of the NES. Nobody here aside from me, QAZAR, Vital Viper, Amba Dawn, the Administrators, and the NHI Staff is.

Are you kidding me? I have lots of NES games in my pc.
All the supermario Adventures ( I really like 2 with the Yoshi), Zombies Ate my neighbours, some silly Macromachines race game, and another bunch of game si dont remember the game.

I wasnt born there, but I played NES lots of times, and it isnt needed to be an expert, and born on that ime to say it was probably on of the best conosles realed to the public audience in all this years.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors was a Genesis/SNES game. Also the Mario games you are talking about, Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island were both SNES games. Micro Machines was an NES game with a special adapter and also a Genesis series of games.

Yeah ET for the Atari is horrible. I'd have reviewed it for the site but I didn't because:
- Up until today, the section was NES only.
- Everyone and their dog has made fun of ET.

I never played that game, but some people, like RFS already told me, that it was really awfull game.
However, the worst games, are the funniest, because you can laugh at the huge amount of mistakes of the game while you play it.

I remember Pokemon, when you catch the missigno. After that, the game turns out a crazy funny thing.

off topic: RFS when you are able, please check your mails. Thank you ;)

The game is hard and doesn't really have a meaning to it.Probaly one of the worst Nintendo games of all time.

Yeah I remember seeing video of that game on G4 (the gaming channel for anyone that doesn't know what it is). And that's why I beleived the whole "downfall of games" thing. Because all you do is move around in an area and you fall into a pit every once in a while, and you get chased by somebody I think I'm not sure though RFS could shed some more light on this I'm sure.

I love those! My dad had one and I play those classics. Now i play them on my wii. Elevator Action. I don't think you ever herd of it but you get to be this guy who robs like the files. You get a gun to shoot cops (no blood or gore) and steel all the files and you win. I have the Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, and Elevator Action
