Dirk Wins the NBA MVP.

I heard Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks just won the MVP for the NBA.
He defintly deserved it.

Well he deserves it because the most valuable player award for the season,altough his team lost to a team who slipped into the playoffs.

I think Steve Nash should Have won it again this year. He is the better player and his team being in the playoff still is on'y evidence of that. Dirk is way over rated. If you this someone dragging the team to wins deserves a MVP than Kobie should have won. although he did get 2 votes, lol.

Should all feel robbed. Dirk did not deserve MVP, his team is out in the first round, the first ever #1 Seed ever to lose to the #8 in an NBA 7 game series. He is not clutch. This season he has missed several oppertunities to tie or win the game in the closing seconds, and falied. He doesn't really play the 'big man' role, so get's very little rebounds for a 7' player. He's just a big foward, who doesn't really play brilliant defence, doesn't get enough boards, blame's the Officials when his team go wrong, has a brilliant other cast of players around him, who would do just fine or better with KG or TD in his spot.

On the other side, he can score and... erm...hmm....... yeah, he can score.

Dirk shouldn't have won. Steve Nash should have won. Look at him in the first game of the NBA playoffs vs. the Spurs. He gets and extremely hurt nose, blood gushing everywhere, goes out and shoots a three and makes it. That is the kind of thing that makes someone and MVP. The only thing Dirk did, like Heat 4eva said, is score. Steve Nash scored, got assists, and a lot more than Dirk! Dirk did not deserve it. If he did, his team would have gotten past the first round. :P

I didn't think he deserved his first two, Kobe did. But after seeing how Kobe was not on his top form during the early playoffs, this was Nash's trophy

It does make them better than the Mavs, Suns have gone further, they maybe on the brink of defeat (3-2 down) but even if they lose, they should feel prouder than if they went out in the first round, in 6 games, to the number 8 seed.

Yeah, he led them into defeat. He'll prolly blame the Refs or something like he did in last years NBA finals.
