Wow, good luck with that. That will take a lot of time and if you can get it to work after building it then it would be worth a lot.

A good one sells for about $300-$400. I'm gonna use mine though. I'm buying stuff for it now.

I've got one. The graphics are hilarious. I've got some of the more common games.

I suggest you try using interchangeable automobile parts for some of the loose screws and bolts. I believe the software chips are cheap in a local video game store.

I'm quite confused with what you said.Your going to make one,you build Video Game Consoles?

It's a DIY handheld. I don't believe there was ever an official "portable" 2600. The cartidges alone were roughly the size of a Game Boy Pocket.

I'm kinda just resizing to original Atari 2600 and giving it its own screen. For that I'm going to buy a pocket TV, and rip it apart:( .
