You have to be more specific. I would be glad to help you with any problems if you could explain it better to me.

The GIMP is an art program to edit images and such. I my self am trying to design images with it, but I don't know how. In a nutshell, how do I use The GIMP?

1) On 'The GIMP' program, click File > New > Height 100 and Width 400 > OK
2) Select the paint bucket icon to choose a color.
3) You can change the color by double clicking the rectangular box of color in the middle of The GIMP.
4) Fill your existing 400 x 100 rectangle.
5) Select the 'A' Text tool
6) Click a spot on your painting
7) Type a font
I guess there is a little help for you. But if this didn't really help, then go onto the www.gimp.org website and find one of their tutorials.

Hey, I am kind of glad I saw this post. Anyway, I made both my sig and avatar using GIMP. In order to get good work out of something, you will need at least two things. One, brushes. Two, is fonts. There are several guides in the Miniclip Forums Gallery on how to download brushes and fonts, and also guides on making signatures. Making your own custom brushes is good too. I am not really sure how to make a font program, but I do not really care. I usually just draw a font that does not exist on to the sig if I want it that bad. Good luck with GIMP.;)

Check out www.gimptalk.com for some nice tutorials. I started fof by reading those, and I am pretty good at GIMP.
Good luck!
