Hey Forumers.

I had this thought, are you suprised that there is not a cinco de mayo party this year? Was there a party last year?

I find it strange that there would not be a party at this time for giving out spanish items such as the cloaks, sombreros, maracacs, ect.

Are you to suprised?

All spanish countries. Mexico, Spain.

Not to mention Mexicans, some people in the U.S. such as in Arizona or California, or even Texas.

Well CP just had the fiesta not to long ago. and the pirate party JUST ended.

It probably would have been better timing but CP can do what it wants when it comes to the parties.

They could have swithced the two parties but it would have messed up Rockhopper's timing and I liked the tradition of a ''summerlike'' winter party. :P

I believe only Mexico does. Honestly, not to sound rude and all, but they shouldn't make a party like that for many reasons. Not everyone in Club Penguin Celebrate Cinco De Mayo. In the Christmas party, I was surprised they added Hanukkah to the Coffee Shop. Why couldn't they add a Ramadan Room? Not everyone is Jewish. People can be Catholic, Muslim and maybe not even a religion. Cinco De Mayo in the other hand is something like this. Also, a lot of items has been released in April. I know, May is a new month, but it's only the beginning of May. They need to wait a little longer to release items. There are more reasons, but it would be like an essay. Hope I explained this good because I'm not really a good explainer at things like this.

I'm not surprised, it would be like them having a Independence Day or 4th of July party. It's not as wide spread as other things. I'm saddened but not surprised.:)

what is a Ce De Mayo party. I never heard of it.:( maybe its because i live in Canada. Anyways i don't think that Club penguin celebrates certain holidays from around the world. What i think Club Penguin should do a party with different holidays from around the world.

I believe why CP does not have a Cinco De Mayo party because it would get mixed viewes. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Mexicans faced the French, so the Mexicans would love this party, but the French would get a different view on the subject.

First of all, Cinco De Mayo isn't the Spanish's Independence Day. It's to mark the day the Spanish fought the French with 4,000 farmers against 8,000 trained French soldiers with the most up to date weapondry, and won.

Also, a party just ended and a few items were given out. Club Penguin can't make a party in 3 days, so it would have been just too tough.

Last year there was NO Cinco De Mayo party. If I remember correctly, they released a new catalog on that day, with the Sombrero, and some other rare items.

Europe and North America. There was none because Australia does not celebrate it. It's like having a Thanksgiving party.

If other people are still confused with what Cinco de Mayo is, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinco_de_Mayo. Anyways, they shouldn't make a party about it. Not to many people celebrate it. :|

Im Hispanic,I think a Cinco De Mayo party would be great but I guess since some people don't celebrate it,they won't make one. It's too late to make one now anyway,I believe it takes a while to organize teh free items and decorations around Cp.

Cinco de Myao is celebrated in Mexico and Texas and a few other states. It is not Mexicos Independance day, but its a celebration of a battle that they one in Mexicos fight for independance from spain. They gained independance on September 16th, 1810.
