The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Written in the 1870's. And I have to read it. So far it's strange because the dialogue is hard to understand and they use different words for stuff now. Back then, instead of saying, "I'm gonna beat you up" they would say, "I'm gonna lick you."

After we took our Tests about a week ago we had to go Into Texas History and Watch the movie. It was pretty boring to me, IM sure the book could be better

well I enjoyed reading these adventures and I found them really realistic:)
and since english isn't my first language, I quite didn't notice any difference between the language now and back then..:)
