Why Do People Post Like This?

For the past few weeks, I have observed many threads to find them full of these posts.

Post found in the Glitch Section.

Shhh, he is gonna be angry.

That's strange, but cool, I want the name "Penguin872823" it is cool.

So my concern here is "Why are lots of people just posting?" Those of you that post this kind of stuff are basically posting what you think and getting on with your "important" life. Ever heard of reading the entire thread before you post?

My message to you is this, "Please put a little more effort into your posts." It will brighten up the forums a bit.

2 words, Post Count.

I was just in a thread with the same problem. In a thread with Iamyellow complaining, he said that he doesnt deserve his rank, and he didnt, because it had to do with SWF's.. But no one read the thread and thought that they knew everything.

This is basically the "post count" and "rank" issue. Those people still view their post count about after every so called "post" they make. I, myself, try to post, but sometimes I guess it isn't the best effort.

Dude, i already tried to straighten out CP, and tried to tell them to post with more thought. I had 2 really huge threads over it, but they seemed to have gotten deleted or archived. But doesn't matter now, that part of the board is gone.

I dunno if you remember, but it was those two posting guides..

Yea, it got over 100 hundred posts, it got over 1,000 views, it seemed like everyone unerstood what i was saying. All the posts said "Thank you, its about time someone said that. We really needed it, thanks."

But what was the result?.....it got WORSE.

No point, CPers dont post for the game, they post for numbers. I would know, everytime i posted there, i would get "How did you get 11,000 posts? Did you hack?"....at least once in every little thread i went to.

It was horrific......Thread after thread, all of it was the same thing...Bandwagaons, and fads all over the place. Popularity was something to fight for...

THey got their own board, not much you can do now. Just let them destroy this new board themselfs. Its not connected to MiniClip's Forums.

Well, little kids like big numbers; what else can you expect? But seriously, I think that the SPAM has gone down since the move.

True, but the staff can always add another mod (Though I doubt any will be as good, now that many of the literate penguins are leaving)

Well, here is how i see it. Penguins either post for post count, meaning they just say random things that make no sense, or post like wanna-be moderators, even though they dont even understand that the moderators don't even act like that.

No one posts with personality anymore...Well, at least here they dont.

Post count is done and over with. Thats sooo lame now, mainly because RFS patched that up good. The NEW trend is to become a moddy. I want to become a mod, RFS! CMON I POST REALLY GOOD!
