What happened on 9/11?

You'd probably say: The heat melted the supporters of the twin towers, causing them to collapse. Yet, think about it, survivors rarely talked bout heat, and more about explosions. Plus, there was a skyscraper, that was weaker than the twin towers, it survived a 20-hour inferno. Still standing, and could even lift a crane. The fires on the twin towers were about, what, like 20 seconds? Plus, the towers fell WAY to quickly to have gone through what many call a "pancake collapse" (floor after floor fall on top of one another).

We should never forget about 9/11. That one day is becoming a big part of history.
That was the most tragic attack the US has ever had. It is not something you should just forget about. Many lives were lost this day. It does not matter if it happend 100 years ago. We should never just stop talking about it.

everybody loves a conpiracy... kid, this isn't funny. planes carry a lot of combustable fuel on them, hence to run the engines. if you haven't noticed, the planes were going at near top speed for a plane. therefore, the impact caused the plane to blow apart before it exploded. and how do know that there aren't airplane debris? did you actually go there and look for debris? i will discuss this more when i get home. until then, don,t make up any more government plots that you "discovered".

For everyone out there who wants to just forget what happened that day, that isn't a very wise choice. A better idea would to just stop making such a big deal out of it all. If we forget moments like these, it'll just lead to another. Before 9-11, there wasn't been a highjacking in America for nearly 30 years. We forgot about it, and voila, another tragic moment in American history.

As for the thread, the terrorists who planned the highjacking were actually very smart. They knew and understood weak points in the building, and had a good idea as to where to hit it. Not every little coincidence has to be a top-secret government conspiracy.

If the government was trying to kill us, they would've done it long ago. This isn't Full Metal Alchemist...
