Problem With Games And Ps2

Well, I just got a PS2 (Slim) today and I tried playing MVP Baseball 2004. It went to the loading screen and there was about an inch left of loading, and it stayed there for like 10 minutes, so I restarted it.

Do you think this could be the system or the game that is causing the problem.

And, have you ever had a problem similar to this one?

No its problably not the system either the disc is scratched or dirty

Why did you get a PS2 i imagineed you as a more of a PS3 man like me.

so, I'm from Malta, and there they give you a 1 one year warranty on every part. After 4 months, the console was jamming, and sometimes it won't even find the disc! :O! When I went to the store to repair it to me, i just gave the console to him, and he didn't even check the warranty card! He just took it, and gave me a totally new one!

Some days ago, I was having the same problem... What to do is to press the eject button (the one which opens the "lid"), and press the lid to the nearest part of the button... stay like that for some 10 seconds, and it would find the disc...

i got a ps2 the other day and tried playing harvest moon, midnight club 3, atv and many other games and none of them worked!

I would think It's the Disc. Where'd you get your ps2?


Im suggest Cleaning both your ps2 and Disc. They have Disc cleaning things at an Local walmart Im sure

I'm not willing to spend that much money on a system.. =/
